Where do raccoons live? The raccoon is, bar none, the most cunning and adaptable species that we encounter regularly in Central Virginia. Raccoons are extremely opportunistic feeders and comfortable in urban and suburban environments. They hunt, scavenge, and raid in and around trash cans, dumpsters, and agricultural bins.
