Chipmunk Control
WE OFFER HUMANE CHIPMUNK REMOVAL USING MODERN METHODS AND TECHNIQUES
The eastern chipmunk is a prime example of how urbanization and suburban sprawl leads to and increases human/wildlife conflicts rapidly. In urbanized environments (like Richmond and Charlottesville), chipmunk predator numbers are drastically reduced to animals like the common housecat and foxes. With fewer natural predators, chipmunks will flourish, and even prefer environments in conjunction with humans. Central Virginia residents may find chipmunk populations expanding quickly on their property – and that’s where chipmunk control, trapping and removal come in.
If you live in Staunton, Harrisonburg, Waynesboro, Lexington, Covington, Roanoke, Salem, Smith Mountain Lake, Charlottesville, Ruckersville, Lovingston, or Richmond, call us today at 844-WILDPRO for your chipmunk removal needs.
CHIPMUNK CONTROL AND PREVENTION
BLUE RIDGE WILDLIFE & FISHERIES MANAGEMENT PROVIDES CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS FOR CHIPMUNK REMOVAL.
Can chipmunks damage my property? Once chipmunks are present, their burrowing systems can cause settling of driveways, walls, and landscaping. Chipmunks can also cause damage to insulated utility lines or car fuel lines. When these materials are manufactured, the process includes lubricating the materials with peanut oil, which chipmunks smell and are attracted to. In order to remedy this, we provide custom-designed chipmunk trapping programs to fit the needs of your property.
Humane Chipmunk Trapping
LET OUR TRAINED STAFF TRAP AND REMOVE YOUR NUISANCE CHIPMUNKS.
How does chipmunk trapping work? Is it safe for pets? As part of our chipmunk removal process, Blue Ridge Wildlife & Fisheries Management will set a minimum of two stations housing up to four traps. We place these traps in stations to ensure that your pets and other animals cannot access the traps. In some situations, we won’t place traps at all. Instead, we will make recommendations to habitat modifications or food supply changes that can lead to the chipmunks relocating naturally.
